For your dog. Well, frankly, you could eat it too, if you felt so inclined.
I’m traveling for work for the next couple of days, so I like to have something scoopable for the petsitter to feed Phoebe while I’m gone. Enter The Good Food Cookbook for Dogs by Donna Twitchell Roberts. This stew has all the key ingredients: macaroni, carrots, potatoes, and tomatoes, and there’s a little cabbage thrown in there for roughage. This will last four days or so, plus another four days’ worth in the freezer for the next time I travel. Of course that depends on the size or your dog, so please do your research before you start cooking for your pooch.
I know, it looks good enough to eat.
