Time to make the doughnuts

Sometimes a box is okay, especially when it’s Stonewall Kitchen.  I must admit, I tend to look down my nose at cakes from a mix, but often the pictures on the box cannot be resisted.  In this case it was Pumpkin Doughnuts.  They were baked and glazed and perfectly cakey.  The directions say you can pipe them or spoon them.  Since I saw these in a catalog yesterday, and they were being piped, and I happen to have some disposable bags, I figured that would be the best way.  I still think I was right; I just won’t bother with a tip the next time.
